First RC Helicopter Flight

When my little sister saw her RC helicopter she wanted to try it out right away. But it was already past dinner time and she certainly could not play it indoors since it would just run into things that could damage the toy immediately. My mother silenced her demands to play with the toy by promising her that we would go out for a picnic tomorrow in the park so that she can play with the helicopter under the pretty blue skies. This seemed to satisfy my sister and she started playing with her new dolls instead.

The day after, we arrived at the park and it was a clear sunny day. Not too hot, and the wind was just right. While my parents and my other sister were setting up the picnic blanket and the food, I was assigned the task to teach my little sister how to play with her micro helicopter. It was very easy and my sister was very eager to learn.

My RC Helicopter Desire

The toy was very easy to operate. What I did not expect was the fact that I enjoyed playing with the RC helicopter as well. There was a time when I was actually hogging the toy and my little sister was begging for her turn to hold the remote.

It was very satisfying to see the micro helicopter that you controlled to be flying in the sky smoothly as if it were the real thing. I was in high school already so I could not believe how fascinated I got with the toy. I thought at first that it was very childish of me but every time I watched my little sister play around with her helicopter I just felt jealous and hoped that I had a mini helicopter of my own.

One of these days, do not be surprised to see me in the park playing with a little helicopter.

Micro Helicopter at the Beach

When they came over, we immediately decided to make a family outing in the beach. My mother and my sister busied themselves immediately packing for the food and other items that would be needed. I had the micro helicopter ready and called my nephew to my room upstairs.

My nephew looked at me expectantly and I showed him the micro helicopter that I got him. He was excited and I could tell that he instantly wanted to try it out. But I kept the box out of his reach. I told him he would get to play his toy outdoors where there is a wide space and there would be no obstacles.

My nephew was unable to contain his excitement and rushed everybody to the beach. Everyone knew that the excitement was all about the RC helicopter and they all obliged to his demands. After all, no one could resist the first little kid in the family in a number of years.

At first I was a bit skeptical about playing the micro helicopter at the beach. Although it was quite ideal since there were no obstacles in the way, the wind might be too strong and I did not know if the toy I got was too light to bear the pressure of the wind. If this is the case, this could greatly put a damper to the experience of my nephew’s first flight.

But luck seemed to be on our side since the winds were not that strong as we arrived at the beach. While everyone was setting up my nephew and i started on the micro helicopter immediately. The toy was very easy to learn and my nephew was a fast learner.

Soon enough, the RC helicopter was on the air and my nephew was jumping up and down in delight. I was glad to get the toy for him. The whole experience was so fun even for me that I was thinking of getting one for myself as well.
