Remote Control Helicopter Flying Is Fun

Have you ever flown a remote control helicopter

If you are like most people I speak with then the answer is no.  You are really missing out on a lot of fun.  As a kid you probably had a remote control toy of some kind.  I am sure you had a lot of fun and eventualy it broke or you got bored because it was a toy not a real helicopter that you pilot.  These RC Helicopters travel at speeds of up to 80mph and are able to do very complex and aggresive manuevers include flips and spins.

Getting started is not as expensive as you might think.  Some starter remote control kits can be purchased online for under $125.  These RC Helicopters do not have the speed or powerfull multichannel radio controllers that others do but that is fine for your first helicopter.  After all you are an inexperienced pilot at this time.

If building things is fun then by all mean get a kit and assemble it yourself but I am a bit lazy and just want to start flying my RC helicopter right away so for me I want a pre assembled model.  Many of the begginer radio controlled helicopters come this way.

Make sure when you fly the first time that your are in a wide open space with lots of grass or beach for crashes or unplanned landings!  Dont worry though these RC Helicopters are much stronger then you might think and a few crashes wont break them right out of the gate.

Once you have the basic manuvers down then it will be time to upgrade to a more sophisticated remote conrol helicopter.  This mean more speed, more range and more fun.  Feel free to browse our blog and learn more about different RC helicopters and accesories and have fun above all.
